Bill Clinton Part 2

Bill Clinton and myself in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada

Hi Everyone, just got the picture back where I had a chance to meet former President Bill Clinton in St. John’s, Newfoundland on Thursday, May 28, 2009.   He was extremely gracious as I got a few moments to comment on the charity work he has been doing since he left the White House.

“I started CGI in 2005 to help turn good intentions into real action and results.”    William J Clinton

A little about the Clinton Global Initiative from the website.

CGI Annual Meetings have brought together more than 100 current and former heads of state, 14 Nobel Peace Prize winners, hundreds of leading global CEOs, major philanthropists and foundation heads, directors of the most effective non-governmental organizations, and prominent members of the media. These CGI members have made more than 1,400 commitments valued at $46 billion, which have already improved more than 200 million lives in 150 countries. Commitments made at the 2008 Annual Meeting are expected to impact almost 160 million people.

You can check out the wonderrful work this charity is doing at www.clintonglobalinitiative.org

They have done wonderful deeds like provide clean drinking water to millions of people and aided with malnutrition for millions of children.

Hat’s off Mr. Clinton.
