Trade, starring Kevin Kline, Cesar Ramos Ceballos and Paulina Gaitan is two years old, but go to your movie store and pick it up. It’s chilling, and its real.
When 14 year old Adrianna is kidnapped by sex traffickers in Mexico City, her 17-year old brother Jorge teams up with Kevin Kline on a desperate mission to save her. The movie portrays an unusual alliance between Kline and Jorge, and how the two face the odds to save this 13 year old little girl. It also gives a glimpse into the violent world of sex trafficking. It was a very well done movie, and I encourage you to see it.
As is ‘The Valley Of Elah with Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron. On the first weekend back from serving a term in Iraq, Mike Deerfield goes missing and is reported AWOL. His father, played by Tommy Lee Jones goes in search of his son. He teams up with an unwitting police detective, played by Charlize Theron, and they set out to solve the mystery of the missing soldier. It’s a well written, well acted movie.
I am without cable or satellite at this time folks, and I don’t plan on getting it until the Fall. I rarely watched tv in the summer anyway. If it’s raining on a Saturday night, I’ll rent movies. Plus, I’m reading more… I’ll keep you up todate
